A reflection and devotion offered for today reflecting joyous Christianity. I have not done devotions before in the past, but it is something I would like to explore further in the future.
The faith of the Christian should be a joyous experience. Our Father takes great joy in, and is interested in, your life. He is happy when you are happy and He enjoys your successes as you enjoy them yourself.
Christianity does not eliminate joy and happiness from life. Through your communication and communion with Christ, you live in the blessing of His presence every day. The more you praise and thank Him, the more happiness you gain from your spiritual life.
Your devotion and continued communion should be such that the joy of the Lord radiates across the entire spectrum of your life.
A verse from the Bible to consider regarding joyous Christianity: Luke 1: 46 – 47, “My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.”
Here is a short prayer to consider: Dear Lord, I continually delight in the knowledge that you are always with me. Amen.
