Salvation

During Christmas we commemorate the birth and coming of Jesus into the world, but we must, also, never forget about the coming of Jesus into our hearts.

If we want to experience the real joy of Christmas, Jesus has to pour out His salvation and peace into our hearts. Thank God that Christ not only came into the world, but also personally comes into the hearts of those who believe in Him and He puts his joy into those who need Him. He came to find and redeem those who were lost.

He comes to us today and throughout our days with His hands filled with grace and forgiveness and blessings for those who follow the righteous path and for those who have lost their path; He comes to turn your sadness into joy.

From the book of Isaiah 62:11: “The Lord has made proclamation to the ends of the earth: ‘Say to the daughter of Zion, see, your Savior has come!'”

A prayer to consider with today’s devotion: Jesus, my Savior and Redeemer, thank you that I can experience the all-surpassing joy and happiness of one who has been redeemed. Amen.
